From jmac1515’s IP I assume Canada so 30fps is most likely if it is an album. What happens if you press the Stop key and then immediately hit Play from the same place where you stopped? Is the audio still out of sync - or does it come back into sync and then gradually drift out again? let's say that after being in Play for 30mins your audio has drifted out of sync. I wonder what's the significance of the tick box which says 29.97/30? Is that some kinda conversion maybe? I'm guessing that your timecode will be 30fps - but problems with 29.97/30 are often a cause of drift.Īlso. Or if your MOTU acts as the wordclock master, then it'd need to be able to sync to timecode. Quantization noise happens whenever you represent the signal with fewer steps. So whatever's supplying the MOTU's wordclock is the thing that needs to do long term syncing. In Mixbus 32c, I run 3 or 4 tracks with effects and I start. In Cubase when I'm composing something, I can run 20-30 tracks of midi and audio, tons of dsp effects, vst instruments, so on, and track it all in real time.
